About GotoGodavari
GotoGodavari helps people in Rajahmundry, Kakinada and the wider Godavari region find what’s on, where to shop, a place to live, work, and places worth visiting.
How it works
Local businesses and people add listings. You contact them directly by phone, WhatsApp or an enquiry form. We don’t take bookings or payments, and you never need an account.
Every listing is reviewed
When someone lists on GotoGodavari, it goes into a review queue. Nothing is published automatically. We check that it’s real, local, and in the right category, and we remove listings that expire, close, or are reported and found to be wrong.
What the labels mean
We only show a label when we have a record behind it. A listing with no label isn’t necessarily untrustworthy; it simply hasn’t been checked yet.
Verified
Our team checked who is behind the listing, for example by calling the business and matching its details. We record the date we did this.
Confirmed
The owner confirmed the details with us recently. We show when, and we stop showing it after 90 days without a fresh confirmation.
Updated recently
The listing was edited in the last 14 days. It says the information is fresh, not that we verified it.
Staying safe
- Never pay an advance or share an OTP with someone you haven’t met.
- Visit a property in person before paying any deposit.
- Genuine employers don’t charge fees to apply for a job.
- Check event timings with the organiser before you travel.
Spotted something wrong?
Every listing has a Report incorrect information link. Reports come straight to our team, and you don’t need to leave your name.
